Following the publication of a video depicting an incident between the staff of Zvartnots Airport and French-Armenian journalist Leo Nikolyan, necessary measures are being taken under the instruction of the Human Rights Defender. The matter is under the direct attention of the Defender, with relevant clarifications requested from competent state authorities.

It is important to emphasize that, under the direction of Human Rights Defender Anahit Manasyan, representatives of the Defender’s office regularly visit Zvartnots Airport to meet with Leo Nikolyan and assess his health condition. The latest visit took place on May 21.
