Seven Vehicles Collide in Proshyan Village, Leaving Seven Injured
Today, on May 23, a major chain collision occurred in Kotayk Province. Around 17:00, on the Yerevan-Ashtarak highway within the administrative territory of Proshyan village, a collision involved a 'Mercedes', a 'Mercedes Sprinter', two 'Ford Transit' vehicles, a 'Nissan', a 'Toyota', and a 'Renault' truck.
According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan at the scene, seven individuals, including minors, have been transported to the Armenia Medical Center in Yerevan with varying degrees of injuries.
Citizens were the first to provide assistance to the victims, followed by the rapid response of the Ministry of Internal Affairs' Rescue Service from firefighting squad number 7 in Yerevan and the paramedics from ambulance number 21 who arrived promptly.
