Review Your Pricing Policy: Tsaghkadzor Municipality Responds to Garik Papoyan
The Municipality of Tsaghkadzor has responded to Garik Papoyan. It should be noted that yesterday, musician and comedian Garik Papoyan published a video on his Instagram page, stating that the "Coma Club" would not open because the Tsaghkadzor City Hall made an incredibly bad decision against a team that had come to benefit their city.
Papoyan remarked, "Sadly, I want to announce that after all this preparation, enthusiasm, and work, the 'Coma Club' will not open because the local self-government bodies in Tsaghkadzor have decided that the best time to tear up the roads is during the tourist season of Tsaghkadzor. The 'Coma Club' has dozens of employees, each one feeding families of 3-4 people, and what the City Hall did days before the opening, instead of doing it during the passive spring period, is a total lack of understanding of the nuances of managing a resort area. This was a huge investment for us, bringing a significant influx of good people and talented artists to the city of Tsaghkadzor, but instead of promised road paving, we have this response days before the opening. They did incredible harm to an entire team that had come to benefit Tsaghkadzor from their city."
The Tsaghkadzor Municipality has responded to Papoyan's video, stating: "Dear Garik Papoyan, extensive work is being carried out in the Tsaghkadzor community within the framework of subsidized and community investment programs. The work is being completed according to plans and weather conditions. All the work being done in the community is aimed at organizing a comfortable life and mobility for the residents and guests of the community, and not to obstruct any entrepreneur. Do not look for reasons for not having visitors in the working processes of the Tsaghkadzor Municipality, but rather review your pricing policy. This neighborhood has never had a sewer system, and all the sewage was filling the adjacent river, having a harmful effect on the environment. We remind you that during the installation of your building’s utilities, you also caused damage and made that road impassable. After the completion of the sewer work, the renovation and asphalting of the road will begin immediately. It is important to note that this work is not being done for a selected 30-40 individuals but for the further well-being and comfort of about 2,000 local residents and hundreds of thousands of visitors annually."
