Commenting on the national team roster, Alexander Petrovky noted the following: “The upcoming friendlies present a great opportunity to experiment against very good teams with young players. This is precisely why Gevorg Tarakhchyan, Erik Simonian, Andranik Hakobyan, and Gor Manvelyan have been called up. Other young players such as Tigran Avanesyan and Sergey Muradyan have also received invites.”

“Due to injuries, Hrant-Leon Ranos, Andre Kalysir, Narek Grigoryan, and Ugjuokwu Ivu will not join the national team. This time, Lukas Selarayán will also miss the squad; he has passport issues that require him to travel to Argentina during the national team's matches. I also invited Sargis Adamyan, but he informed me that he cannot join the national team, citing that the second Bundesliga’s preparatory period starts earlier and he needs time to rest.”

“Regarding Norberto Briasco-Balekyan, considering that FIFA's window for friendly matches opens on June 3 and Norberto's team has a match on June 2, he will only be able to join the national team on June 4 in Slovenia. For this reason, Norberto will miss the upcoming matches.”

The Armenian national team will begin preparations for the friendly matches on May 27 at the HFF Technical Center/Football Academy.
