Erdogan Can Independently Declare Mobilization

The revised provisions regarding mobilization and state of war give the President of Turkey the authority to independently declare a general or partial mobilization in the republic in response to appropriate threats. This is stated in the new legislative norms published in the 'Resmi gazete,' the official bulletin of the Turkish government.
