Car veers off the road and overturns, one injured

On May 22 at 19:53, the crisis management center of the Aragatsotn regional rescue department received a call reporting that an accident occurred on the Yerevan-Gyumri highway, near the village of Mastara.

A firefighting and rescue team from the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene. It was determined that at the 78th kilometer of the Yerevan-Gyumri road, a BMW vehicle (driver: S. Sh., born in 1992) crashed into a metal guardrail, veered off the roadway, and overturned, posing a risk of falling into a ravine.

Rescuers secured the vehicle, extracted the trapped driver, and transported him on a stretcher to the ambulance. The driver was hospitalized, where his health condition has been assessed as serious. Rescuers also disconnected the vehicle's battery and closed the gas bottle valve.
