The Secretary of the Armenia faction in the National Assembly, Arzvik Minasian, has urged the authorities to be mindful of their language. "They are attempting to insult and thus undermine the movement. You are only revealing your fears with that, putting them on display," he said.

According to Minasian, the authorities are employing the concept of "border reproduction." He challenged, "Open up and see if there is any law that contains the concept of 'border reproduction.'" In response to Minasian's statements, the Speaker of the National Assembly, Alen Simonyan, remarked, "Mr. Minasian, are you claiming that Armenia has no borders? We achieved independence through some border, didn't we? You, as the secretary of the second faction, are asserting that Armenia has no border. Now, if our adversary were to come, place a post near your office, and say, 'Arzvik Minasian said there are no borders,' what will you say then?"
