SHIRAK REGION COLLISION BETWEEN ELECTRIC LOCOMOTIVE AND TRUCK

On May 20, at 19:30, the crisis management center of the Shirak Regional Rescue Department received a call reporting that a truck had collided with a train on the Mayisyan-Hatsik highway, resulting in a fuel leak.

A combat unit from the fire and rescue squad of the Ministry of Internal Affairs was dispatched to the scene. It was discovered that on the Mayisyan–Hatsik highway, on the railway line, a truck of the brand 'GAZ' (driver: S. M.) collided with an electric locomotive (operator: A. S.). Fortunately, there were no injuries.

The rescue workers disabled the truck and monitored the situation until the gas tank of the 'GAZ' truck was drained.
