Possible Hail, Strong Winds During Thunderstorms: Weather Forecast in Armenia

In Yerevan, on May 20, and in the evenings of May 21-22, brief rain and thunderstorms are possible. On May 23 during the day, and from May 24-25, sporadic rain and thunderstorms are anticipated, with intense rain expected on the evening of the 24th and the night of the 25th. There is a possibility of hail and strengthened winds reaching speeds of 16-20 m/s during thunderstorms.

In the regions, on May 20 during the day, and on May 21-22 in some areas, brief rain and thunderstorms are expected. On May 23 during the day, and from May 24-25, substantial portions of the regions may experience sporadic rain and thunderstorms, with possible intense rain and hail in certain areas on May 24-25.

The wind will be southeast at 2-5 m/s, with expected intensification during thunderstorms reaching speeds of 18-23 m/s. The air temperature on May 20 during the day, and from May 21-23, is gradually expected to rise by 3-5 degrees, and will decrease by the same amount on May 24.
