Number of People Killed in Raisi Helicopter Crash

At least eight people have died as a result of the helicopter crash involving Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi. This was reported by Tasnim news agency.

According to the agency, among the deceased were, in addition to Raisi, Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, East Azerbaijan Province governor Malek Rahmat, Friday Prayer Imam of Tabriz Mohammad Ali Ale Hashem, and the head of the President's Guard, General Mehdi Mousavi of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. The crew included two pilots and one technical staff member, whose names have not been disclosed.
