Israel Strikes Gaza, Casualties Reported

At least 8 people have been killed due to Israeli strikes in various areas of the Gaza Strip, as reported by Al Jazeera.

According to their sources, five individuals died as a result of attacks on the Jabalia refugee camp in the northern part of the Gaza Strip, with several others injured. One person was killed by a strike on a school located west of the camp.

Additionally, two Palestinians were killed due to Israeli airstrikes targeting the cities of Rafah and Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip.

The situation in the Middle East has sharply escalated since October 7, 2023, when militants from the Palestinian Hamas movement infiltrated Israeli territory from Gaza, leading to the killing of residents in border settlements and the taking of hostages.

In response, Israel announced a complete blockade of Gaza and began striking areas in Lebanon and Syria alongside specific regions, eventually launching a ground operation in the enclave. Clashes are also occurring along the western bank of the Jordan River.
