No Millimeter of Land Given Up by Armenia: Border Demarcation Process Successful, Says Armen Grigoryan

We believe that the border demarcation process has been successful, and no millimeter of land has been given up from the territory of the Republic of Armenia. This statement was made by the Secretary of the Security Council, Armen Grigoryan, during an interview on Public Radio.

According to Grigoryan, an important agreement has been reached between Armenia and Azerbaijan, citing the basis of the Alma-Ata declaration for the demarcation process. “This has set a precedent for us to continue the demarcation based on the maps from 1976,” the Secretary of the Security Council added.

In response to the question of what Armenia has conceded to Azerbaijan, Grigoryan stated that legitimacy is where the territory of Armenia passes through: “What belongs to you is what legitimately pertains to you.”
