Video: Man Shoots at Slovakia's Prime Minister Four Times, He is Hospitalized

Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico was shot multiple times in Handlová after a government meeting. He is injured and has been transported to the hospital. The assailant has been arrested, reports the Slovak newspaper Nový Čas.

According to Pravda, Robert Fico was addressing the public when four gunshots rang out. The Prime Minister sustained injuries to his chest and abdomen. He was rushed to a hospital in Bratislava by ambulance.

Local media reports indicate that the shooter was apprehended at the scene. The National Council's session has been suspended indefinitely, announced Deputy Prime Minister Ľuboš Blaha. “This is your doing,” he told the opposition.
