Russian Journalist Maxim Kononenko Dies at 53 in Moscow

Russian journalist Maxim Kononenko has passed away at the age of 53. This has been reported by Russian media.

The well-known journalist and political commentator, who was famous under the pseudonym “Mister Parker,” co-hosted the show “Real Politics” on НТВ alongside Gleb Pavlovsky. According to Mash, the preliminary cause of Maxim Kononenko's death was severe bleeding due to esophageal varices.

The journalist's health deteriorated on the evening of May 13 at his home in Verkhove village. Kononenko complained of severe stomach pains and had turned yellow. His son called for an ambulance, and medical personnel transported the man to the hospital, but they were unable to save him.
