Photos: A group of individuals attacked car passengers with sticks and bats; gunshots were heard
According to Shamshyan.com, on May 11, a brawl and fight occurred in the Ararat region. Around 19:15, operational information was received by the criminal police of the Armenian Ministry of Internal Affairs that a dispute had taken place in Masis, during which gunshots were fired.
It was revealed that at approximately 19:10, three vehicles, a "VAZ 2112," a "Chevrolet Volt," and an "Opel," collided on the street in front of 26/21 Heratsy Street in the city of Masis. After which, a group of individuals exited from the "Niva" and "Opel" with the intention of causing hooliganism, showing blatant disrespect for the public while shouting insults. They struck the passengers of the "Chevrolet Volt" several times with sticks and bats, during which gunfire was exchanged from a pistol.
As a result of operational investigative measures taken by the police and investigators, it was determined that the driver of the "VAZ 2112" was identified as 22-year-old Tigran M. from the Aragatsotn region, the driver of the "Opel" was 26-year-old Grant G., and the passengers were identified as 28-year-old Mkrtich D., 26-year-old Armen T., 21-year-old Shant G., 23-year-old Keryob G., 23-year-old Hambardzum G., and 24-year-old Emin G., all from the Aragatsotn region. These individuals attacked the driver of the "Chevrolet Volt," 28-year-old Shavarsh D., who is also a resident of the Ararat region, resulting from a personal dispute that arose around 19:10 in front of 26/1 Heratsy Street in Masis. He fired shots from the pistol he had.
On May 12, the police found and arrested Tigran M. and transferred him to the detention facility of the Masis police department.
