Accident on Yerevan-Gyumri Highway: Driver Was Intoxicated, Had No License; 3 People Hospitalized
Today, on May 12, a serious car accident occurred in the Aragatsotn Province. Around 15:10, on the Yerevan-Gyumri highway within the administrative territory of the village of Aghjk, vehicles collided: a "Nissan X-Trail" driven by 35-year-old Arsen Khachatryan, a resident of Kotayk Province, and a "Mercedes" driven by 31-year-old Tigran Khachatryan from Shirak Province.
According to Shamshyan.com, as a result of the accident, 3 individuals sustained bodily injuries and were transported to the "Ashtarak" medical center, from where 2 were later transferred to various hospitals in Yerevan via ambulance.
The drivers underwent sobriety testing, and it was found that the driver of the "Nissan X-Trail" was intoxicated and had no right to operate a vehicle.
