Altercation and Brawl Near 'Dvin': Several Arrests

On May 8, a violent altercation occurred in Yerevan. Around 1:10 AM, the Central Police Department received a report from the Operational Management Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs about a fight in front of the 'Dvin' hotel located at 40 Paronyan Street, as reported by Shamshyan.com.

According to the source, at approximately 1:15 AM, five individuals were arrested on suspicions of hooliganism and were taken to the Central Police Department. Those arrested include 29-year-old Narek M. from Ararat Province, 33-year-old Levon N., 31-year-old Edgar S., 25-year-old Suren M., and 33-year-old Gagik S. Furthermore, at around 2:20 AM, 40-year-old Ruben M. from Yerevan was also arrested near 90 Simon Vratsyan Street.

Investigations carried out by police and patrol officers revealed that at approximately 1:00 AM on the same day, the individuals had engaged in a heated argument stemming from a personal matter, violating public order by shouting insults at each other and exchanging blows.

Documentation related to the incident has been prepared at the Central Police Department and forwarded to the investigative department of the Yerevan Investigative Committee for the Central and Nor Nork administrative districts, where a criminal case has been initiated.
