Turkish Goods May Be Transferred to Israel via Third Country
Turkey has completely suspended trade with Israel. This has been addressed by one of Israel's reputable publications, "Yedioth Ahronoth," which presented Israel's plans regarding this situation. It was noted that Turkish products could be transferred to Israel through European countries.
The Israeli freight forwarding company "iShip Forwarding" has announced that there is a temporary solution on the agenda to circumvent the ban. This involves creating a new logistics route, whereby Turkish goods will be transported first to a third country and then to Israel.
The company also mentioned that this similar solution allows Turkish manufacturers to continue supplying goods to Israel without violating the ban and without being aware that the products have reached Israel. The freight forwarding company refused to disclose through which countries the shipments could be organized, but the Israeli newspaper speculates that Turkish goods could pass through Bulgaria and Romania.
It was also noted that this transit would incur additional shipping costs but would ensure the continuity of goods flow.
