The US continues to believe that peace is possible between Armenia and Azerbaijan. This was stated by Vedant Patel, the Principal Deputy Spokesperson of the US State Department, during a press briefing.

"We continue to believe that peace is possible. This is something that the Secretary and others continue to actively monitor. I do not have information on the progress of negotiations between the parties. But we will continue to support this process," he said.
