No ‘Maidan’ in Georgia Due to Foreign Agents Law, Says Prime Minister
The bill on "Transparency of Foreign Influence" will be adopted in Georgia despite radical opposition criticisms and attempts to prevent it, announced the country's Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze at a press conference.
He emphasized that the adoption of this document will ensure that the events that took place in Ukraine in 2014 will not be repeated in the republic.
The Prime Minister stated that the Georgian authorities have not heard any legal arguments against this draft law from anyone.
