The Victory of Tomorrow is Very Close. Bishop Bagrat
The victory of tomorrow is very close. This was stated by Bishop Bagrat during a rally.
He also outlined what the transitional government should look like: “It must become a government of reconciliation, formed by all capable and competent individuals with high professional knowledge, allowing individuals to participate in this government of reconciliation regardless of their party affiliation. The atmosphere of internal reconciliation, based on the principle of justice, must dominate the country.”
According to the Bishop, there should be no discussions about a complete change to the Constitution until new elections take place. “All regulations must occur as a result of negotiations. No one can impose changing our Armenian agenda on us,” he declared.
Bishop Bagrat emphasized the need to develop a new concept for relations with the Diaspora, engaging all capable forces in the development of the life of the Republic of Armenia and the Diaspora at both internal and external levels. The governance system should welcome back all experienced professionals, whether diplomats, military personnel, or civil servants who voluntarily left or were unjustly dismissed from their jobs, even for expressing a single opinion.
“Armenia must enter a phase of post-war recovery; our recovery is a sheer necessity – spiritual recovery. It is a phase of development that implies new morals, new behaviors, and a concept for the formation of a modern state,” the Bishop noted.
“All individuals imprisoned for political views must be released. In addition, all efforts must be made to return the military and political leaders of Artsakh and other captives. A new military doctrine must be developed and refined,” emphasized Bishop Bagrat.
The Bishop also stated that he is ready to assume responsibility. “I am ready to take on any responsibility, with the blessing of the Patriarch of the Armenians, the will of God, and, of course, the wishes of our people. However, there are issues that need to be discussed with lawyers, which, I am sure, will be clarified and presented to you within two days,” he concluded.
