The Questions of the Prime Ministerial Candidate and the Missing 18 Deputies' Support Remain: Bagrat Srbuzean

Tomorrow's transitional government should become a government of reconciliation, formed by capable and qualified individuals with high expertise. This was stated today, May 12, by Bagrat Srbuzean during his speech at Republic Square.

"By allowing independent party affiliation and other individuals to be involved in this reconciliation government. The atmosphere of internal reconciliation in the country should prevail, based on justice; thirdly, the civil service system should be stable and secure, not dependent on whims of any individual. It should guarantee free and fair elections, not based on filling positions with relatives and friends," he said.

According to Srbuzean, independent deputy Ishkhan Zakaryan has not refused to join the process of declaring an impeachment against Nikol Pashinyan. "I met with independent deputy Ishkhan Zakaryan. He has not refused to join this process (of impeachment) after some consideration. I assume that for the first time we can say that the opposition factions have overcome the first phase. Two crucial questions remain to be resolved: the question of the prime ministerial candidate and the support of the missing 18 deputies.
