Russian Army Takes Control of Four More Settlements

The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation have liberated four settlements in the Kharkiv region. This was reported on Sunday by the Russian Ministry of Defense.

"Units of the 'North' group of troops have advanced beyond the enemy's defenses and liberated the settlements of Gatyshche, Krasnoye, Morokhovets, and Oleinikovo in the Kharkiv region," the ministry's statement said.

In the areas of the settlements of Degtyarnoye, Volchansk, and Kazak Lopan in the Kharkiv region, units from the Armed Forces of Ukraine's 14th Mechanized Brigade, as well as the 110th and 113th Territorial Defense Brigades, suffered losses in personnel and equipment, the Ministry of Defense noted.

Previously, as a result of offensive operations in the Kharkiv region, units of the 'North' group of troops liberated the settlements of Borisovka, Ogurtsovo, Pletenevka, Strelki, and others. Meanwhile, units from the 'Center' group of troops successfully liberated the settlement of Keramik in the DNR.

On May 8, the Ministry of Defense announced that the settlements of Kislovka in the Kharkiv region and Novokalynovo in the Donetsk People's Republic had come under Russian control.
