Russian Army Takes Control of Several Settlements in Kharkiv Region
Russian troops have liberated five settlements in the Kharkiv region as part of their offensive operations. This information was reported by the Russian Ministry of Defense, with details shared by RIA Novosti.
According to a summary from the military agency, "Units of the Northern Group of Forces liberated the settlements of Borisovka, Ogurtsovo, Pletenevka, Poshoynaya, and Strelezhya in the Kharkiv region as a result of offensive operations."
It was also noted that the forces have continued to liberate villages in Donbass. "Units of the Central Group of Forces successfully liberated the settlement of Keramik in the Donetsk People's Republic," the Ministry of Defense announced.
Previously, Ukrainian media reported that Kyiv is evacuating residents from one of the cities and several villages in the Kharkiv region.
On May 8, the Ministry of Defense announced that control over the liberated settlements of Kislavka in the Kharkiv region and Novokalininovo in the Donetsk People's Republic had passed to Russia.
