Tragic Incident: A Man's Body Found in One of Vanadzor's Cemeteries

On May 11, a tragic incident occurred in the Lori region of Armenia. Around 11:25 AM, the Operational Management Center of the Lori Regional Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs received a call from the Vanadzor Medical Center's emergency service, reporting that a duty group of emergency medical doctors was dispatched to a cemetery located about 70 meters north of the Lori highway in Vanadzor, where they discovered the body of a man.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, the head of the Lori Regional Police, Artur Zakaryan, and the head of the Bazum Police Station, Aram Harutyunyan, arrived at the scene. Police and investigators determined that the deceased was Vahe H., a 61-year-old resident of the Republic of Artsakh, who, according to preliminary information, died suddenly.

According to the preliminary conclusion of the forensic expert, there were no signs of violence on the body as determined by external examination. Based on G. Shamshyan's information, a criminal case has been initiated in the Lori Regional Investigation Department on the grounds of “murder” (sudden death).
