VIDEO: Driver of Bus That Fell into Water in St. Petersburg Taken into Custody; Casualties Reported

The driver of a bus carrying passengers that fell into the Moika River in St. Petersburg has been taken into custody. As reported on May 10 by the regional Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, a criminal case has been initiated.

“The Investigative Committee of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia has opened a criminal case under Article 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (‘Violation of Traffic Rules and Operation of Vehicles’). The bus driver has been taken to the police,” an official from the agency stated, according to Interfax.

Additionally, preliminary reports indicate there are three casualties.
