Gunshots Heard in Ashtarak

On May 9, gunshots were reported in the Aragatston region. At around 8:40 PM, operational information was received by the National Security Service's Aragatston regional department and the Aragatston regional police regarding gunfire on Getapnya Street in the city of Ashtarak, according to Shamshyan.com.

According to the website, police officers and patrol units discovered "Mercedes" and "Lada" vehicles on the mentioned street. Bullet traces were found on the front windshield of the "Mercedes" and on the side window of the "Lada." The officers from the Aragatston regional department and the Ashtarak police division, following hot leads, determined the identity of the shooter, identified as 50-year-old Vahe M. from the Aragatston region. Necessary operational investigative measures are being taken to locate him and recover the firearm used in the crime.
