Civic Contract Party Contacted Leaders of 'Tavush for the Motherland' Movement Yesterday: Petrosyan

The Civic Contract Party established contact with the leaders of the 'Tavush for the Motherland' movement on May 9. This was announced to journalists by one of the leaders of the movement, Suren Petrosyan, at Republic Square in Yerevan.

It should be noted that on May 9, the movement arrived in Yerevan with a march. The Archbishop of Tavush, Bagrat Galstanyan, and numerous citizens stayed overnight at the square.

“Since yesterday, there have been some contacts from the Civic Contract Party, initiated by them. I cannot mention names, but please, they can deny it. There is nothing surprising here; we have talked about this a thousand times. This is all about reconciliation; we do not see anyone as an enemy,” he said.

Petrosyan also emphasized that their movement is for the benefit of the members of the Civic Contract Party as well.

It is worth remembering that supporters of the 'Tavush for the Motherland' movement, led by Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan, marched from Kiran to Yerevan to halt the unilateral demarcation process.
