German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has announced that the conflict in Ukraine is expected to drag on. This information was reported by Tagesschau and conveyed by RIA Novosti.

“It is clear to all of us... that we must be prepared for this war to last longer than we would like,” he stated.

Additionally, Scholz called on European countries to supply Ukraine with more Patriot air defense systems.
