Video: Republic Square from Above – How Many People Attended According to Different News Outlets
Today, on May 9, a rally for the 'Tavush for the Motherland' movement took place at Republic Square. The movement commenced on May 4, when a group of protesters, led by Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan of the Tavush Diocese, marched from Kiran to Yerevan.
According to the 'National Front' Telegram channel, over 60,000 citizens participated in the gathering. Meanwhile, 'RIA Novosti' reported that there were at least 20,000 people in the square and surrounding streets. Official figures have not yet been released.
