Bagratis Bishop Gives New Deadline for Nikol Pashinyan to Resign

An hour had passed, and the Prime Minister of Armenia had not resigned. In a speech to the participants of a rally at Republic Square, Bagratis Bishop gave a new deadline for Nikol Pashinyan to resign by 20:00.

“Dear people, do you feel who is governing this country? The series of lies hasn’t stopped even by this hour. He said, didn’t he, that if there were any issues, we would gather in the square, and I would present you the details, and you would say ‘yes’ or ‘no’. There's probably no one in the square, right? Or he does not consider us people at all. We will wait very patiently and calmly until 20:00, until the bells ring,” said Bagratis Bishop.

The rally of supporters of the movement “Tavush for the Homeland” continues at Republic Square. Earlier, Bagratis Bishop had demanded Nikol Pashinyan's resignation, providing a deadline until 19:40.

It should be noted that on April 19, the commissions for the demarcation of the border between Armenia and Azerbaijan agreed to start the demarcation from the Tavush region.
