Hamas Concerned Israel May Not Fulfill All Gaza Ceasefire Agreement Terms

The Hamas movement is apprehensive that Israel may limit its implementation of the terms of a potential ceasefire agreement in Gaza to only the release of Israeli hostages, and subsequently continue military operations, said Usama Hamdan, a member of Hamas's Political Bureau.

Hamdan stated during a press conference in Beirut that Israel aims to 'complete a phase that ensures the release of its captives held by the resistance, and then will resume its aggression against the Gaza Strip.'

He emphasized that the deal reached by Hamas includes a mandatory halt to the occupation of the region.
