VIDEO: The Bishop's Response to Pashinyan's Statements
A group of residents from Charezavan greeted Bishop Bagrat and participants of the march with bread and joined the procession.
“Thank you all for being here, regardless of the rain or hail. As many as there are 'narco-barons' and 'agents,' you have gathered here; there was no such thing, there was no such thing, dear people,” he said, referring to Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, who had declared that those supporting the discontent movement were narco-barons hiding abroad, criminals who, according to his information, were recruited by foreign services.
Bishop Bagrat also responded to Pashinyan, noting, “Perhaps the war has already been agreed upon by him.”
“The person who considers such a large number of people to be representatives of narco-barons and agents, I don’t see any point in addressing his words. To the one who terrorizes his people and speaks lies, why should I respond?” said the Bishop.
