Police Withdraw from Kiranth
Following the announcement by Kiranth's administrative head, Kamo Shahinyan, regarding the cessation of the delimitation process, police officers and special forces have vacated the village area. Currently, there are no officers even on the roads leading to the village. Only one patrol car is stationed at the entrance towards Kheyrymli.
This morning, a larger number of police were deployed in Kiranth compared to previous days. Around noon, when individuals were spotted just meters from the village allegedly engaged in delimitation-related activities, police formed a barrier at the entrance to that area.
Earlier today, law enforcement allowed Kiranth's administrative head to approach the area with the installed border posts and observe up close where they had been placed. Shahinyan expressed satisfaction with the delimitation results at this time, stressing that the 57 plots of land around which villagers had expressed concern are currently under Armenian control.
The administrative head also mentioned that he had seen the 11th post, which is situated in the river dividing the lands of Kheyrymli and Kiranth. According to Shahinyan, the process has been frozen in areas that the Prime Minister referred to as sensitive points during today's press conference.
