Body of Contracted Soldier Found with Gunshot Wound, MOD Reports

On May 7, around 14:00, the body of contracted soldier Artak Seryozhayis Avalyan (born in 1985) was discovered in the protection area of Military Unit N of the Ministry of Defense, with a gunshot wound. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Armenia.

An investigation is underway to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident.

The Ministry of Defense expresses condolences and support to the soldier's family members, relatives, and fellow servicemen.
