Absolute Madness: Maria Zakharova

If the threats from London regarding Ukrainian strikes with British weapons on Russian territory are carried out, Russia will reserve the right to strike British targets, both in Ukraine and outside its borders. This was stated by Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, in an interview with TASS.

“If such a scenario is implemented, our country, the Russian Federation, will reserve the right to respond appropriately, choosing British military facilities as targets, which are located both on the territory of Ukraine and beyond its borders,” the diplomat noted.

She made this statement in response to the British Foreign Secretary David Cameron’s claim that London views the use of British weapons by Kyiv against Russian territory as legitimate. Maria Zakharova described Cameron's statement as “absolute madness.”

“It is not only illegitimate; it is also illogical, since Britain itself literally stated the opposite not long ago,” Zakharova emphasized.
