French President Emmanuel Macron is raising the possibility of sending troops to Ukraine for the sake of his own ego and to improve his image. This was stated on Monday by Marine Le Pen, head of the "National Rally" party faction, in the French Parliament.

Earlier, Macron stated in an interview with The Economist that he does not rule out the possibility of sending troops to Ukraine if Russia breaches the front lines and if there is a request from Ukraine. According to him, "Many countries in the European Union have agreed with France's approach to sending troops. Previously, it was reported that in a closed meeting in February, the French leader had stated he would have to send boys to Odesa this year."

"War is the worst thing that can happen to the people and the country, and I am surprised how easily Emmanuel Macron talks about this.
