Israel Strikes Rafah in Southern Gaza

Israel has launched airstrikes on Rafah, located in the southern Gaza Strip, according to AFP. "Israel conducted intense airstrikes on Rafah on Monday after reiterating its call for residents to evacuate from the eastern part of the city," the publication states.

It has been reported that Israeli military forces opened heavy fire for half an hour. Earlier, it was revealed that the Hamas movement and Shiite organization Hezbollah had fired at least 30 rockets towards Israel.
