Damage Caused by Wind

On May 5, the National Crisis Management Center received reports indicating that damage had occurred due to strong winds in the Kentron and Erebuni administrative districts of Yerevan. Roofs, balcony tin coverings, and trees were reported damaged.

Rescue teams from the Ministry of Emergency Situations' Fire and Rescue Department were deployed to the scene, along with a special rescue group from the Crisis Management Center.

The rescuers carried out work to cut down broken trees, secure tin coverings, and dismantle damaged structures.
