Consequences of Shelling in Kharkiv and Dnipro
On the night of May 5, drone strikes targeted several regions in Ukraine. According to the BBC, three private homes in the Stovzhanskyi district of Kharkiv were set ablaze due to Russian 'Shaheds' attacks, as reported by the city's mayor, Ihor Terekhov.
Authorities in Dnipropetrovsk region also reported fires and damages to infrastructure following the 'Shahed' strikes. According to the regional military administration, several fires erupted in Dnipro, damaging a high-rise building. In the Slobozhanska community, two cars and a shop were impacted.
Reports have also surfaced about strikes in the Nikopol direction. “In the city, two enterprises, a recreational facility, and a private house were damaged. Fortunately, there are no casualties or injuries,” Ukrainian officials stated.
