NATO Prepares for 'Potential Conflict' with Russia, Says Russian Foreign Ministry
NATO's Steadfast Defender exercises demonstrate that the alliance is preparing for a 'potential conflict' with Russia. This was stated by Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, according to RIA Novosti.
“Right now, the largest NATO exercises since the Cold War, Steadfast Defender, are taking place near Russia's borders. Their scenario involves the development of coalition operations against Russia using all means, including hybrid and conventional weaponry. It should be noted that NATO members are seriously preparing for a 'potential conflict' with us, which, by the way, senior representatives of NATO openly discuss,” Zakharova said.
