VIDEO: The Vice Speaker of the National Assembly Assured That They Will Not Do Anything Behind the Backs of Tavush Residents
There is no need to tell apocalyptic stories about the events that occurred in Tavush. This was stated by the Vice Speaker of the National Assembly, Hakob Arshakyan.
“My dear ones, it seems as if you have declared war against the windshields; there is no need to break the citizens' cars,” he said, addressing the opposition.
According to Arshakyan, false statements are made every day, suggesting that the villages were given away. “You affect people's emotions so much that you end up committing acts that are prohibited by law,” said the member of the ruling party, noting that blocking inter-state roads is not a way to solve issues.
He emphasized that such actions are unacceptable and added that law enforcement has acted correctly. The Vice Speaker assured that they will not do anything behind the backs of Tavush residents. “Not a meter of Armenia’s sovereign territory will be conceded,” Arshakyan said.
