Samsonyan and Saghatelyan's Defenders Release Statement

Lawyers Ruben Melikyan and Arsen Babayan, representing Nar ek Samsonyan and Vazgen Saghatelyan, the hosts of the "Imnemnimi" podcast, have issued a statement:

"Yesterday, on May 2, the investigator in charge officially notified us about the completion of the preliminary investigation regarding the political prisoners Nar ek Samsonyan and Vazgen Saghatelyan. This means that the case will be sent to court in a few days, and the first court hearing will be scheduled in about two weeks. We will address questions related to the political persecution of Nar ek and Vazgen in detail in the coming days through a press conference.

We remind you that Nar ek and Vazgen were deprived of their freedom on March 22 after discussing the Armenian government's intentions to hand over Armenian territories in Tavush to the Azerbaijani side using harsh language in their authorial podcast, "Imnemnimi."
