David Martirosyan, General Secretary of FC Pyunik, Passes Away; He Was the Grandson of Suren Baghdasaryan
David Martirosyan, the General Secretary of FC Pyunik, has passed away. The information was reported by the club's press service.
“The General Secretary of FC Pyunik, David Martirosyan, has departed from life unexpectedly. David was a highly respected figure in our football community, known for his immense kindness and profound dedication to his beloved work. The entire staff of FC Pyunik extends its deepest condolences and support to David Martirosyan’s family and friends,” the statement said.
It is noted that David Martirosyan studied at the Faculty of Journalism at Yerevan State University. From 2012 to 2020, he contributed to the magazine “Football Plus.” David worked in the press departments of the football clubs Mika and Gandzasar-Kapan. Since 2019, he joined FC Urartu, where he was the head of public relations and press, later becoming the executive director and deputy director for commercial issues.
He started his role as the General Secretary of FC Pyunik in January 2024.
David was the grandson of sports commentator Suren Baghdasaryan.
