Police Open Entrance to Kiran Village but Remain Present in the Area, Says Village Head
Police have opened two entrances to Kiran village but continue to maintain their presence in the area. Essentially, demining operations have been completed.
This was stated today, May 3, in an interview with NEWS.am by Kiran village head Kamo Shahinyan.
“The villagers are still in a state of anticipation to understand what will happen next,” the village head noted.
It is important to recall that on May 2, around 6 AM, a significant police force arrived in Kiran village, where they used brute force to detain men, including minors, who were blocking the road. Following that, police only allowed those registered in Kiran to enter the village.
