Pashinyan Rejects Macron's Request
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and his political team's focus on relocating universities out of the capital and establishing a so-called academic town is causing concern not only among Armenian citizens. This issue has raised serious worries among international partners and foreign institutions operating in Armenia. According to 168.am, French President Emmanuel Macron reached out to Nikol Pashinyan, requesting him not to relocate the French University in Armenia (UFAR), which is located in the Kanaker-Zeytun administrative district of Yerevan. However, Pashinyan rejected the request from the French president.
