David Vardanyan Defeats Azerbaijani Opponent and Advances to European Championships Semifinal

Today, on May 3, the 19th European Championships for 2024 kicked off in Stockholm, Sweden, featuring athletes from Armenia as well.

On the first day of the competition, Armenia's representative David Vardanyan celebrated an impressive early victory against Azerbaijani Elchin Eminov, advancing to the semifinals in the men's 65 kg weight category.

In the semifinal match, Vardanyan will compete against a representative from Sweden.
