Armed Robbery in Yerevan: A Resident Robbed and Fled

On May 2, an armed robbery occurred in Yerevan. Around 21:50, the police's criminal investigation department of Yerevan and the Arabkir police received operational information about an armed robbery in building 3 on Griboedov Street, reports Shamshyan.com.

Police and patrol officers found a service pistol near the entrance to one of the apartments on the third floor of the specified building. The owner of the apartment informed the police that an unknown individual, armed with the mentioned pistol, attacked him as he was trying to enter his home, then, under the threat of the pistol, stole his bag containing cash and other personal items before fleeing the scene.

The police and investigation department are conducting necessary operational-search and investigative joint actions to identify the perpetrator of the robbery and recover the stolen items. The identity of the victim has also been determined.
