“It Is Very Dangerous”: Zatulin

The USA is currently trying to turn Armenia into an “anti-Russian platform.” This was stated by Konstantin Zatulin, the first deputy chairman of the State Duma's CIS Affairs Committee, on his Telegram channel.

“Judging by the official statements of Armenian officials, the USA is now trying to turn Armenia into an ‘anti-Russian platform.’ As for Azerbaijan, which demonstrates good relations with Russia, I would not be too happy, considering that Azerbaijan's main ally is not Russia, butTurkey. There are now a whole range of options for how to turn the South Caucasus into an ‘anti-Russian platform.’ This is very dangerous,” he said.

Regarding Georgia, Zatulin noted that there is no doubt that the USA wants to divert Georgia from a reasonable and cautious course to an aggressive anti-Russian line. “Any pretext is used for this. In this case, the ‘foreign agents law’,” the MP stated.
