Gunfire on Iran-Iraq Border: Casualties Reported

Gunfire has been directed at Iranian soldiers on the Iran-Iraq border. One border guard has been killed, and two others have been injured.

According to the official IRNA news agency, the attack occurred in the city of Bana, located in the western part of Iran, near the border with Iraq. The two injured soldiers are currently receiving treatment in a hospital.
